i can’t stop eating carb foods!
i can t stop eating. I am addicted to carb foods! Does that sound familiar? We must start eating the food our body can understand and process. To our body, healthy food means natural foods. That includes carbohydrate foods that have been harvested – not processed. These are the foods our body understands.
They are produced by nature and have evolved with us for centuries. As opposed to processed foods that fill 70 -80% of of supermarket space today. They are alien to our body. Processed foods are created in factories and processing plants. They were never suitable for the human diet. In fact, they did’n even exist till the 20th century.

Protein foods provide us with energy. Carbohydrate foods provide us with the fuel. All carbohydrates are converted to glucose, which is liquid sugar. That’s the fuel we use when we have energy to spend. But only protein foods can give us that energy!
i can t stop eating because I’m addicted to sweets!
Forty years ago we reversed our traditional diet. We were urged to do so to save ourselves from cholesterol. We changed from a traditional diet of protein foods to a diet of factory processed fake foods. Today, 60% of us are addicted to those same processed carb foods. As is normal for any addict, food addicts fear anything that can potentially limit free access to the substance they depend on. In this case, processed carb foods. The food industry, just like the tobacco industry, depend on our addiction for their continued growth and prosperity. They know that if carbohydrates, like sugar, or pasta, is suddenly not available. It would damage their business. But it would also spell the end of the world to food addicts. They are expected to pass their addiction on to their kids. It’s all part of the greater business plan.

We can be lab rats for the food industry or we can take control of our own diet. The the industry shugs off our sugar obsession, as a quaint habit that can’t really harm anyone? After all, who doesn’t love sugar right? They claim carb foods are energy foods. Another lie. Carb foods do not give us energy. They merely provide the fuel if and when proteins have given us enough energy to spend. The fact is. If we don’t eat enough protein foods we will have no energy to burn the carb foods. The more excess carb foods we eat the fatter we get!
The symptoms of food addiction are as real as those of drug, tobacco and alcohol addiction. In fact, they are very similar. They include; cravings, binges, hunger pains, withdrawals, fatigue, high blood pressure, strokes, depression, alzheimer’s disease, premature aging, anxiety, allergies, headaches and other pains.

We allowed food addiction to get established. So here we are , 40 years later, denying the existence of sugar addiction. It is another version of the tobacco industry. Instead of being recommended a low tar cigarette. We are being recommended low carb diets. Nobody wants an addiction cured. Even addicts are not crazy about it. How can they be? They are addicted to it. A multi-national food industry depends solely on our addiction for their growth and prosperity. The industry doesn’t care how many carb foods are ok. Or what type of food provides a healthy diet. What they really want is to control and manage our entire food production. They want their products to replace all natural food. Take a peak into any supermarket and you’ll see they are largely succeeding. The food industry expects to continue to profit from our addiction. This is not about health or about people. This is about big business and making money.
Addicted to Carb foods, i can’t stop eating!
Diet experts get their ‘pseudo science’ from the backroom labs of cereal and snack food corporations. They accept it as if it is genuine science. Sadly a basic understanding of how the body works has become shrouded in misinformation and general ignorance. Another way the food industry claims authority for their fake theories, is by adding the words ‘healthy’ and ‘food’ on their packaging. All this is to confuse the public about the actual differences and needs between protein foods, carb foods and fats.
The cry; i can t stop eating becomes more common every day!
As processed carb foods are losing their gloss, the industry has begun to suggest certain carbohydrates contain protein. They claim that somehow, proteins can also become carbs. This borders on magic. It has facilitated a product called a protein cereal. A contradiction in term. Their most effective ploy has been their incredible success in having amassed a mountain of misinformation. There is no better place to hide a truth, than in a pile of garbage.

To anyone, who has any doubt that processed foods are killing people, consider this: The human body does not adapt. It evolves. Human beings evolved largely on traditional protein foods. Any carbohydrates they would eat were produced by nature. Forty years ago, a phony scare campaign, tricked and coerced millions of people to adopt a simple reversal of our traditional diet. It was claimed to cure cholesterol problems. Naturally people assumed science was behind it. – it wasn’t! The new diet became known as The Food Pyramid. it was an exact reversal of the natural foods we had evolved with for centuries. Evolution is a slow process. It works in eons, not decades. Yet here were people, who called themselves experts, suggesting that our body can adapt to fake carb foods that are manufactured in modern day factories.

They also claim manufactured, processed foods are energy foods, essential for good health and growing children. Like the tobacco industry. Such self serving comments are the norm. It will be a decade or two before the cereal and other ‘food’ manufacturers are officially accused of promoting a deadly addiction. But that’s what is happening. Growing numbers of people will be calling out, i can t stop eating!
